Short Interview #7 xat Peshmerga

Hello Peshmerga! Would you like to be my next interviewee?

I’m going to ask you a few questions about your private life. Can I?

 

What’s your real name and how old are you?

I actually rather not disclose my name just yet if that’s okay, however I’m 18.

What is your greatest strength?

Being stubborn when need be. But mostly getting along with everyone

Tell us about yourself.

I’m a Muslim Kurd, born and raised in Canada, and I’m proud of all three. If you want to know more.. Chat, is where you’ll find me. 

What are you studying?

Political Science (yes, I’m going to be the greatest political leader ever)

What words would you choose if you had to define yourself?

Open-minded, yet stubborn.  

What do you like doing in your free time?

No such thing anymore. -Cries in uni- 

What is your favorite food?

I’m not that picky, but it has to be made by me.

What kind of music do you listen to?

I actually prefer poetry and spoken-words. But I don’t have any favourites. (Yes, I’m Canadian, so it IS spelled favoUrites. )

 

Let’s talk about the xat community!

 

For how long have you been on xat and how did you discover it?

Story time! So I actually came across xat as a result of Pokemon Tower Defense’s chat site being taken down. Some of my friends made a chat here and invited me. At first, I didn’t even know where to type.. (this was back in 2010 I believe but I never made any accounts) Needless to say, I figured it out eventually. 

What is your global impression of xat now?

Nice community, really puts the image/idea of a “global village” into perspective.  

What do you think about the xat community? Is there anyone you especially trust?

It’s hard finding trust worthy people in person now a days, never mind online. But I do know of a few, namely: Sydno, Masha and Bella.

Have you ever met someone from xat?

No, but been planning on it. Maybe one day~ 

If I were to ask your xat friend to describe you, what would they say?

Polite, smart, selfless, helpful, enthusiastic, positive, organized, best person in the world, etc.. 

What is your favorite chat?

Chat, since I get along well with most of the people there. Recently been at Help as well  

What is your ‘power’?

I’m good at solving problems, and hearing people out.. I can solve anyone’s issues but not mine. It’s a God given talent I guess. 

How long do you think you’ll stay on xat?

As long as it remains online/active. Everyone says they’ll quit, but they ALWAYS come back! 

What was your first impression?

As mentioned in my story.. I didn’t even know how to work the site, so I was terribly confused! 

How has xat changed for the better since you first joined?

More powers, I just wish there were more people.

What is the best year you spent on xat?

I really don’t have a specific good year, but if I had to pick, I’d say way back in 2011.

Do you have an interesting/funny fact to tell on xat?

I didn’t know about the age restriction on the site until I was 16.. Oops?

How did you start getting involved in the official chats?

That’s what I’d like to know…   I guess they’re the most active chats now a a days, and most of my older friends don’t get on as often.

Do you have any special message to end this interview?
